ZTE Introduces Elastic SD-WAN at ONS Tech Event

2017-04-07

ZTE announced its participation at the Open Networking Summit (ONS) where it will also introduce its elastic software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) platform. The platform will allow enterprise customers to make full use of their network and data centre resources, provide them with E2E ICT products, and assist them in improving revenue, the company said in a press release. The ONS summit takes place on 3-6 April in Santa Clara, US.

The Chinese equipment maker said this SDN/NFV platform enables users to operate throughout the entire process from E2E connection, service purchase, launching, maintenance, to canceling. It also enables end-users to purchase PnP equipment to accomplish one-touch configuration and purchase Buy&Play services. The platform features locally deployed virtual value-added services (vVAS). The unified ICT O&M platform is also designed to reduce human costs and realise services in ICT cloud and network synergy.
