ZTE won the "Best Practice of Trusted Cloud Technical Service" award with its 5G Telecom Cloud SDN solution at the 2021 Trusted Cloud Conference. ZTE's 5G Telecom Cloud SDN solution is a cloud infrastructure solution oriented to 5G cloud network convergence, covering the central cloud and edge cloud scenarios. This solution adopts the SDN networking technology and 5G-oriented NFV technology to provide operators with end-to-end solutions. In addition, it supports hybrid overlay, network overlay and host overlay, as well as various types of loads such as bare metal server, KVM server, SR-IOV and container, to meet the assessment requirements of various 5G scenarios and guarantee flexible networking.

Based on the investigation and analysis of 2021 global server product market, as well as the research and evaluation on mainstream server competitors within the industry, Frost & Sullivan presents ZTE Corporation with 2021 Global Server Product Innovation Award. In August, 2020, ZTE 5G auto integration center solution was shortlisted for The Best Network Auto Technology award in 2020 5G Summit held by the world leading consulting company Informa Tech. ZTE introduced the concept of 'Software Defined System Integration'. With a series of auto integration tools, the solution supports E2E CI/CD, provides customized southbound/northbound interfaces, interacts with peripheral 5G entities, realizes auto planning, design, checking, deployment and test of 5G network integration, completes all the input once and outputs the result of each integration stage automatically, so that it can realize auto 5G integration E2E procedure, help the operators get rid of the pain points of 5G construction and decrease the operators' costs.

In January, 2020, at 2020 annual meeting of ICT industry trends held by communication world omnimedia, ZTE NFV auto integration platform plan won '2019 Excellent Solution of Chinese 5G & Industry Application' by virtue of the excellent performance and wide application in the evaluation of '2019 ICT Industry Champion List & Excellent Solution'. ZTE AIC integration platform realizes auto NFV integration E2E procedure of virtualization core network construction, including auto integration planning, integration deployment and 'zero intervention' of the test, so that it shortens the NFV network construction time greatly. With the friendly user interaction interface, it also realizes 'zero distance' between the customers' requirements and each stage, including planning & design, network deployment and verification test, in full life cycle of network integration. Meanwhile, AIC tool platform considers the support of offline design and remote deployment and introduces cloud experience model, so that the users can perform integration planning and pre-integration verification on the cloud in real-time on demands, and the selection & deployment of application scenarios & NEs are more agile and flexible.

Nov. 1, 2019, ZTE and Guangdong Branch of China Mobile have won Best Industry Solution Award from ICT by virtue of ZTE's Common Edge solution at PT Expo China 2019.

13 November 2019, ZTE has been presented with the Project Delivery Perfection award for its ground-breaking contributions to China Mobile's He-Fetion project at the Global Telecom (GLOTEL) Awards 2019 ceremony in London. This award demonstrates ZTE's innovative capabilities and leading position in the Rich Communication Services (RCS) and converged communications field. In addition, ZTE also won the Highly Commended Award in the categories of Telecoms Transformation award and the Industrial IoT Initiative of the Year, as a result of its 5G E2E Slice Solution and NB-IoT Massive-connection & multi-service Virtual-verification Platform Solution (NMVP) respectively. These awards recognize ZTE's industry-leading approaches to 5G business models and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Oct. 17, 2019, ZTE won 5G Excellence Award at the SDN/NFV World Congress held in The Hague, Netherlands, by virtue of its Common Edge Solution. It is the only 5G best product and solution award rewarded at the congress.

23 Oct, 2019, ZTE's Common Edge solution won the "Innovation" award at the 2019 GNTC. This is another award for this solution after winning the 5G Excellence award at the SDN NFV World Conference in Netherlands, fully demonstrating ZTE's innovation and leadership in the MEC field.

In August, 2019, ZTE established the relation of 'strategic cooperation' with China Mobile Group Design Institute about key technology research, creation of relevant specification & standard, as well as integration service extension. They set up 'Network Cloud System Integration Joint Lab' based on ZTE Openlab and the design institute resources, it provides integration experiment and test environment for both sides; ZTE and China Mobile Group Design Institute carry out network cloud system pre-integration verification and continuous integration, support establishment of China Mobile NFV/SDN and 5G network together, accelerate the improvement of China Mobile self-integration ability, and promotes continuous & healthy development of this industry together.

ZTE Corporation has been named one of the leading 5G Core (5GC) vendors in Ovum's latest 5GC white paper "ZTE Accelerates Carriers Migration to the 5G Core Network". In this paper, Ovum outlined how operators can build an agile, automated 5GC network to improve operational efficiency and increase service revenues as the telecommunications industry transitions into the 5G era. The white paper highlights the capabilities and competitiveness of ZTE and its Common Core solution in 5GC standards, technologies, and commercial applications.

In February, 2019, ZTE 5G core network auto integration plan was shortlisted for TMF Excellence award held by authoritative & standard organization and product league TMForum of global OSS/BSS, and was officially nominated for annual open digital ecosystem platform award.

In January, 2019, ZTE 5G core network auto integration plan won '2018 SDN/NFV Best Practice Award' in 2018 ICT champion list evaluation launched by communication world omnimedia, the plan provides the operators with a series of E2E & one-stop services such as 5G core network integration planning & design, scheme verification, test design, integration deployment and integration test via AIC. Open virtual lab and pre-integration work flow cover various 5G core network virtual integration service scenarios such as NFVI integration, MANO integration and VNF integration, so that it decreases the integration difficulty of 5G core network scenarios greatly to accelerate the establishment of the operators' 5G network and to help transform the network .

ZTE Core Network Product Won the "5G Core Network Excellent Solution Award" and "SDN/NFV Best Practice Award" in 2018 Communications World List. ZTE Common Core is a 5G-oriented fully-converged core network solution meeting full access of 2G/3G/4G/5G/Fixed networks. The solution is constructed based on Cloud Native and 3GPP R15 SBA standards, and greatly reduces the cost of deployment and evolution. ZTE 5GC Automated Integration Solution provides operators with end-to-end one-stop services of 5GC network, greatly reducing the integration difficulty of 5GC scenarios, accelerating operator’s 5G network construction and transformation.

In December, 2018, ZTE 5G core network auto integration plan was highly recognized by China Mobile at China Mobile world partner meeting held by China Mobile, China Mobile released OPEN-AUTO partner plan together with ZTE and the partners of other industries, they are dedicated to the construction of OPEN-AUTO industry ecosystem with the partners and help with the landing of telecom cloud.

April 2017, ZTE ZENIC SDON solution was awarded the “Best Practice of Transport Network SDN Interworking Standardization” at China SDN/NFV Conference 2017. April 2017, at the Global Cloud Computing Open Source Summit in Beijing, three trophies of "OSCAR Open Source Technology Innovation” are awarded to ZTE's virtualization platform TECS, automated installation and deployment tool Daisycloud-core and SDN controller platform OSCP by the Open Source Cloud Alliance for ndustRy (OSCAR). In addition, ZTE's "Cloud Management Platform Product TECS" has successfully passed the Interop Challenge test and has been awarded the Outstanding Enterprise Award by OSCAR.

In Madrid Spain, ZTE RCS solution based on IMS won ‘Most Ambitious Solution for Rich Communications’ Award issued by 2017 IMS World Forum. Next generation of IMS CN will integrate into innovation achievement in IT field further based on SDN/NFV cloud, constructing 5G oriented multi-media communication innovation platform of ‘IMSaaS’, and satisfying ‘customization as required’ by new communication under multi-requirement scenario in 5G era.

April 2017, ZTE's cloud management platform solution, Tulip Elastic Cloud System (TECS), has successfully passed the Interop Challenge test at the Global Cloud Computing Open Source Summit and has been awarded the Outstanding Enterprise award by the Open Source Cloud Alliance for Industry (OSCAR). The Summit, hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and undertaken by OSCAR, is the cloud industry’s most authoritative event.

24 April 2017, the Open Source Cloud Alliance for Industry (OSCAR) awarded ZTE with three OSCAR Open Source Technology Innovation trophies at the Global Cloud Computing Open Source Summit, Beijing. ZTE became platinum membership of OPNFV in November, 2014 as an important member of Board & TSC (Technical Steering Committee). OPNFV, founded in October, 2014, is a new collaboration project leaded by Linux foundation.

ZTE joined OpenDaylight organization in January, 2014 as platinum membership, after which, it takes an active part in development work of open source, main contributions include: 1. It leads the establishment of Of-Config project in the community, which supports the newest Of-Config 1.3 standard in the newest Boron version. 2. It founds BIER project in association with China Telecom, which promotes the evolvement of multicast technology and integration with SDN idea. 3. It performs R & D of SPTN project with partners like China Mobile and Ericson in ODL community. 4. It performs deep research & optimization together with community members in multiple core projects like MD-SAL and OpenFlow.

ZTE was awarded the ‘Best Integrated IMS Solution Award’ at the recent IMS World Forum 2012 event in Madrid, Spain. ZTE was awarded for its IMS-based legacy voice service (PSTN/ISDN) emulation solution.

ZTE joined ONF in September, 2011 officially. ZTE takes an active part in SDN standards work of ONF, mainly about OpenFlow protocol expansion, SDN architecture, information model, transport network SDN and SDN migration, over 30 proposals in total.
